Hubby’s current project

A few days ago, Hubby heard the click of death from his desktop. So yesterday, he went out to buy the parts to put together his new computer. He was stalled last night but today he is on again. Look out for updates to his current project (well, if he gets to it :P ).

Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess – Escort duty is a Pain!

I have finished two dungeons and have found all the tears of light for spirit Lanayru. The last insect (BIG BIG FLEA!!) was so darn difficult to finish off. I kept hitting his legs but he still came up fighting. Humph! What was I not doing??? Anyway, it turns out I have to use energy attack to hit all his legs at the same time.

Next was escort duty!!! Another difficult task! The bridge joust was easy if you knew that you have to be on the move to be able to take him down in two shots. Next comes the hard part. The bird bomber is so darn annoying!!! Last night, the carriage must have burn many many times before I decided to call it a day. This morning, fresh in my mind was A PLAN to finally get through this! The thing about the game is when I started it up this morning, it restarted from before the joust. Do I really have to do this again? Aaiyaah .... as what Yoshimo would say :P

I equipped Link with the gale boomerang and off we go, staying as close as possible to the carriage so I can put off any flames should it catch fire. After the eastern gates, comes the bird bomber. I did the same as before but this time also trying to target the bird bomber. I finally got through after ... hmmm ... maybe three or was it five tries. But hey, you know what, it was fun after all that hard work :)

Wii are on again!

A week or two ago, we both decided to buy some Wii games, namely Resident Evil 4 and Legend of Zelda, The Twilight Princess after we started playing again Link's Crossbow Training. We had so much fun with that game trying to beat each other in terms of points. So we thought, why not get the game. Hubby checked out the reviews and concluded that the games that had good reviews including regarding usage of the Wii were Resident Evil 4 and Legend of Zelda.

We checked out Best Buy and Resident Evil 4 was priced at CAD 19.99 and Legend of Zelda was CAD 59.99. We bought it and later checked out Staples nearby Metrotown and Legend of Zelda was priced at CAD 39.99. So Hubby went back to Best Buy and they price-matched it at CAD 39.99. Not a bad buy because both games turned out to be GREAT! RE 4 for Hubby and LOZ for me!!

Quote of the Day

Yup, we have not updated in a while.  When Hubby first started his "Quote of the Day", I mentioned that he would have to update it daily so he changed it to "Occasional Quote of the Day". At the rate he was going, I commented once again that it should be changed to "Rare Quote of the Day". Now it seems that it should be changed to "Quote of the Day When I like it" or "Quote of the Day When I Remember". Well, there are so many possibilities so will there come a time when it will be "Is there a Quote of the Day?"
